ExtraDigital 03518DC Lääts HD / 1/2" / 3.5-18 mm

This HD lens with a 1/2-inch sensor, 3.5-18mm variable focal length, and model number 03518DC is a high-performance optical solution designed for professional video surveillance, security, or other specialized imaging systems. With its variable focal length (varifocal design), it provides excellent flexibility and adaptability to various fields of view – from wide panoramic shots (3.5mm) to detailed close-ups (18mm). This allows one lens to effectively perform the functions of multiple fixed-focal-length lenses, reducing costs and installation complexity. The lens is optimized for use with 1/2-inch image sensors, ensuring excellent image quality and clarity at high resolution. The "DC" designation indicates DC auto iris control, which automatically adjusts the amount of light entering the sensor. This is crucial in varying lighting conditions, ensuring consistently bright and detailed images both day and night. Such iris control helps maintain optimal exposure and depth of field, improving camera performance and reducing the need for manual adjustment. This lens is an excellent choice when building a video surveillance system capable of adapting to different environmental conditions and providing both broad overview and fine detail capture. Its robust construction and high-quality optics guarantee reliable and long-term operation.
