Protects against intrusion into the room through doors and open windows, including roof windows. Registers opening, vertical tilt change, vibration, impacts on doors or windows, and immediately sends an alarm signal to the Ajax Hub. Ajax DoorProtect Plus sensors can be installed on all types of windows and doors, including metal ones. Operating principle: The sensor construction consists of two parts: a reed switch and a magnet (the kit includes two magnets: a large magnet with an operating radius up to 2 cm and a small one – up to 1 cm). In the normal state, both parts are closed, and the reed switch is affected by the magnetic field. When opening a window or door, the magnet is removed from the reed – the contact opens, and the Ajax Hub receives an alarm signal. Features: The sensor is equipped with an accelerometer to determine device deviation in the vertical plane by more than 5° and also impact or vibration detection. DoorProtect Plus can be installed on windows, including roof windows, and the system can be activated even if windows are open for ventilation (by disabling the magnetic sensor settings). Installation and setup: The magnetic opening sensor with impact and tilt detection DoorProtect Plus is ready for use straight out of the box: the battery is already installed, and there is no need to open the housing. Connection to the Ajax Hub is made with one click using a QR code. Installation takes only a few minutes using the SmartBracket mount. Advantages: The sensor is compatible with any type of door and window – activation radius up to 2 cm. The accelerometer records tilt change, vibration, and impacts. As a result, DoorProtect Plus can be used to protect the room even with roof windows that are slightly open for ventilation. British high-quality reed switch is designed for 1,000,000 openings. External terminal allows connecting third-party wire sensors.
